Arts and Cultural Development: Helping to grow the arts via supporting and encouraging creative networks and building participation and engagement with the arts is a wonderful thing. I have previously initiated and coordinated networks such as: Artslink, Eastern Makers and Creators Hub (formerly Knox Craft Collective), Made in Murrindindi and other Bushfire Recovery networks in collaboration with Nillumbik and Whittlesea Shire Councils.
Artist Mentoring: Teaching, mentoring, and passing knowledge on is a passion of mine. I enjoy assisting artists to develop their work, finding new directions and challenges, progressing curatorial understanding, exhibition requirements and arts marketing as well as identifying professional development opportunities and memberships, relevant grants and potential collaborations and partnerships.
Grant Writing: Securing enough funding is essential to the success of any project. I have been successful in obtaining several large governmental grants from Business Victoria, Vic Health, the Department of Justice and the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
